Sara Eisen

SaraSara Aliza Eisen (American television journalist) is currently associated with CNBC. She is a co-anchor for the channel's shows 'Squawkon the Street' and Closing Bell'. As an Ohio native and a native of Ohio, she wasn't too attracted to the world of markets and currencies while in college. She interned at ForexTV.com while she was an undergraduate at New York University. This is where she first had a chance to work dealing with business news. Later, she earned a master's degree in broadcast journalism at the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. Then, she completed a four-month stint with Bloomberg TV in Hong Kong. After she returned to US, she began to work in Bloomberg's office in New York. She became a TV anchor in the end. In December 2013 she was hired by CNBC as the correspondent. Eisen has been co-anchor for 'Worldwide exchange and 'Power Lunch', before landing the role on 'Closing Bell in the year the year. Eisen is co-anchoring "Squawk on The Street" since 2014. She is among the most reputable business journalists today. Since joining CNBC, her primary attention has been on the global news for consumers.
