Jana Kramer became famous on the television show, playing Alex in One Tree Hill's final three years. Her first few releases as a country singer appeared on the episodes of the series helping her 2012 eponymous debut album in the top 20 in the Billboard 200. Thirty One by 2015 was the follow-up and reached Number Ten. Her decade culminated with participation for Dancing with the Stars. The self-doubting Voices was released in 2021. Kramer was later cast to appear as Portia Ranson in 90210 (2008-2009) as well as Brooke Manning, in Entourage (2009) prior to when she was tapped for One Tree Hill by the CW as Alex Dupre. Kramer remained with the One Tree Hill team until half way through its finale season (2012). Jana Kramer Kramer's run on One Tree Hill saw her signing a contract for a single with Elektra Records. In 2011 she debuted the contemporary country love song I Won't Let Go. The track was later featured on Jana Kramer's debut full-length in the mid-2012 timeframe. She starred in several films including Heart of the Country 2013 and Country Crush 2016, which appealed directly to her fans. Kramer's second album Thirty One was released by Warner Music Nashville on October 15th of 2015. I Got the Boy - a Top Five Country hit - and Steven Tyler, Aerosmith's lead singer in a duet helped the album reach the top 10 of the Billboard 200. Starting in September of 2016, her two-month stint on the 23rd episode of Dancing with the Stars ended in a fourth-place finish. The singer also had a hit for adult contemporary with the song Feels like Christmas, featuring Straight No Chaser.
